Shabana Azmi praised the executive producer of her new film Honeymoon Travels… Zoya Akhtar, sister to director Farhan Akhtar and daughter of legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar. Javed Akhtar is Shabana Azmi’s husband. Shabana felt that Zoya was better than brother Farhan as she had to manage six couples on the set and she is good at managing actors. She feels that this is going to help Zoya when she takes up her own maiden directorial venture.
Zoya’s directorial debut will star Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor and is scheduled to start sometime later this year. Shabana feels that the film will be worth waiting for and surely a treat. When asked about her own honeymoon she let out the cat from the bag and said that she went to Pune with a couple of her girlfriends and that she hasn’t had a formal honeymoon, she says Javed Saab owes me one! Hope husband Javed is reading this as well.
