Smith, the host of the show, felt that the panelists should not be so hard on Barkley, but Watkins agreed with Method Man. "Barkley’s a little bit of a haterologist," says Watkins. "You have to give him credit for saying whatever is on his mind. The problem is that there is never anything in his brain to begin with."

But Dr. Watkins is not completely down on Barkley. He feels that if Barkley is sincere about his mission to help the poor, he is just as qualified as anyone else to be in office. "I don’t hate Charles," says Watkins, who also wrote "Everything you ever wanted to know about college." "He is a strong black man, and I respect him for that. I just haven’t always agreed with him."The panel also speculated on whether or not the country was ready for a female president. Watkins feels that "Hillary Clinton has the biggest testicles in her household," and that "Our country has been hurt because we have never given a woman a chance to have a powerful position." At the same time, Watkins is down on Hillary Clinton in terms of her commitment to the African-American community. "It’s one thing to show up at church, eat barbecue and pretend to be a Baptist minister," says Watkins, who has been asked to help Senator Clinton obtain votes in Upstate New York. "But it’s another thing to actually support tangible policies that will help our people.
